I was approached by Jes & Kevin with this concept and knew I had to capture it. Based on 14th century Black Death epidemic with a bit of a romantic element to it, Jes and & Kevin made their own costumes to resemble the doctors of that time. They were referred to as “Beak Doctors” in reference to the protective masks they wore. I love history and as disturbing and gloomy as this era was , it spawned a rebirth in European society.
